For someone that didnt read the comics or play with the toys, the movie was enjoyable for me. (majority due to Lee byung Hun's prescence).. Who cares about bad plot? It is fun and ego levelling to be able to have mental interactions with urself throughout the movie and of course crack inside jokes and laugh With UrSelf . im not trying to be sarcastic. I do enjoy yo. Because it is easier to find a pin in the sea than finding someone that can understand your 笑点 and appreciate the same stuff as urself.

Last last sunday I managed to watch 3/4 of GI Joe rise of the cobra and I knew i liked the show due to the cheeeem technology and the纠结plot. Not to mention that I was on cloud nine when i saw joseph gordon levitt ( the second male lead in Inception yo...google pls), and was surprised when Lee byung hun appeared. Hah! Didnt like or notice him before even though I knew he is 天王级 in korea.
Now i know why.
超。有。魅。力。
I didnt know he and Snake eyes were ninjas in the show until I read wikipedia.
And you know   Now you know that i love ninjas...AHHHHHHHH

okay. let me review the new movie abit. *inserts spoiler warning*
I was a little confused when the movie first started. The whole ambushing...making a perfect circular hole through the fence and some shooting and then suddenly the mission is sort of completed and u dun even what the mission is about. Next u find Flint ( a person)  acting on his own and then the rest of the teammates worried over him getting in some danger that i am too stupid to understand and then i almost tot he betrayed the JOE team becos i heard someone say to another one... to shoot the rascal Flint.( almost wondered if i was watching the movie with my eyes closed). Suddenly U get to see a close up on a olive green flag and *cries* i dun even noe why...and wad just happened.

hahahaa. then u see a quick recap by a low deep voiceover explaining explicitly (with cool swivelling animation that i almost used for powerpoint presentation )about who are the new good guys becos apparently the cast have changed much from the previous cast. I thank you for being so kind to give me a big hint that Flint wasnt a traitor and also hinting me to erase my memory of the plot that just happened. I know u just want me to have some fun and tense excitement while getting used to see the newcomers faces. :') how kind of u. I shall call that a cool warm up.

We move on to seeing two guys discussing seriously over some battling strategies or some sort..just to find out that they were actually playing video games. *as i reach here, i cleverly note that the misson earlier really has no much involvement in the main plot*

We get to scenes that were great attempts to make the audience laugh with the spinning around joke, sending girls out of room crying or screaming joke, mini PK 比赛 with unprecedented (is this how u use this word?) scary karaoke stakes that involves huge guns to bring down poor cupcakes accurately and fouling ur opponent by pulling off a well timed foul. okay. i know my english is bad. my purpose is to confuse u so that u dun understand the spoilers yo.

hmmm..i cant believe i am recalling the movie after one week since i watched it. im blogging this becos i dun wan to forget this movie T.T      . okay! 

We get to see our baddie president that managed to swop himself with the real one and sends off the joes to a mission that he planned for N years i supposed so as to strike his eyesores away with a beautiful excuse.

The joes obediently went for their mission and someone purposely talked about missing Snake eyes( the black ninja that vowed not to talk after his sheefu 师傅  got killed by Stormshadow the white ninja..aka Lee Byung Hun 李炳宪 ) Hhahaahaha  almost laughed at this inappropriate, supposedly not funny part because that scriptline is quite impt it is there to remind me that one of my fave person is not joining the mission.

My deduced reasons that he didnt go for the mission could be :
1) Not only he is a ninja,He can predict the future and he knows that the mission is a scheming plot by the fake president. Since he cannot talk, he didnt tell the others not to go. but he secretly prepared backup plan eh?

2) So that my most fave White ninja can appear in the most cool/scary/surprising way in the later part which i totallly loved. wahhahhahaha

So i shall fast forward to say that our joes mission failed obviously. becos robotic fireflies blasted up the whole place and killed Duke...the male lead in the previous movie. Thus Roadblock aka Dwayne Johnson can become lead eh.

So three only surviving joes managed to figure out that bad guy is President with 100percent surety with amazing logic. and got back to Roadblock old home after they just see an airbase in the desert. I repeat. THEY GOT HOME AFTER THEY JUST SIMPLY SEE, SAW, LOOK at that airbase. Maybe this movie more high tech than the previous one becos they probably found a teleportation portal in that airbase.

At the same time lee byung hun disguising as Snake eyes who is declared to the world by Fake President to be a bad guy got caught on purpose so that Fake President can know where the Cobra Commander and his DIY pet Destro ( a guy who was disfigured last movie and had instant plastic surgery due to cool nanotechnology to have a face made of metal.) from last movie were imprisoned. Cos nation wide declared bad guys are kept in confidential place that FakePresident cannot find out but real president knows but would not say. really? why? why no one tell fake president where bad guys are kept?


So "Snakeeyes" got a friendly welcome with the insane prison warden who is having a one sided conversation with himself since we ALL KNOw that Snake eyes is not supposed to talk becos of that vow u noe. BUT the impossible thing happned. "Snake eyes" talked. Mask reveal. he turns out to be Stormshadow.
?!!? but they carry on imprisoning him?!!?!,nvm that they got the wrong person?!!!?! so that prison warden can add on to his collection of BAD GUYS GI Joes Series. So we have three huge cylinders that Bad guys are put in with chemical that makes them as good as preserved vegetables 植物人 but with the brain able to think and see n hear.
*cues lee byung hun action time*
He is the perfect role to rescue the baddest Cobra and Destro becos he can control his heart to stop beating with his ninja skills. This is enuf to bewilder and cause panic in prison scientists that are monitoring the bad guys in cylinder. They pull Byunghun out to do some emergency rescue and thereby removing the chemical that makes him a vegetable. This is enough for byunghun to grab scientist and breaks free and rescues bad guys after cool ninja-ing and ends with the same welcome sentence that Prison warden told him at the start. only that he says it with such enthusiasm and cute face that made me smile : Welcome to hell.            (ohno. i sadistic.)

However, I cant rmb much but I know the place got blasted up again and our dear hero here got his whole back burnt due to the fire. and we see him being supported out of the place with amazing staggering acting skills and sent off for healing at some faraway mountain by a .....SHAMAN? is that what you call that woman? hmm.

Then we see Snakes eyes ninjaiing with another new female ninja called Jinx, who is cousin of white ninja Stormbreaker and u see another sheefu reminding Snake eyes not to be so harsh on Jinx just because she is Storm Shadow ( I repeat. Lee byung hun) 's cousin.

The ninjas received their mission from the sheefu.

next they are off to some mountain where Storm Shadow is healing ( OUCH. That healing process looks painful.) I quite like the part where i see Jinx following Snake eyes along so faithfully. I can feel that Jinx has been secretly liking Snake eyes for very long and feel very happy for this field trip to catch her cousin even though the trip is going to be silent since Snake eyes cannot talk to her eh. They got telepathy can liao.  and this is going to be the legendary ninja fight that is probably the only scene that other ppl can appreciate throughout the whole movie.

It is a combination of ultimate extreme flying fox and catching game as u see many red ninjas fighting against Jinx and Snake eyes after Jinx had fought off the highly skilled Shaman and Jinx also managed to drugged Storm Shadow when the WHITENBLACK ninjas having their usual one to one battle. 

I have to mention that it is highly admirable of Storm Shadow to stick to his signature ninja shuriken weapons to fight against the guns of Snake Eyes. It was quite a funny scene as though of a silent comedy show.

okay back to Storm Shadow being drugged and put into a sleeping bag or some sort and was thrown down the mountain by Snake eyes so that he and Jinx can fight off those cute red ninjas and we realise the sleeping bag was connected to some cables across mountains. Thus Stormshadow had the most exciting cable car experience while he was drug.

Fast forward to the part where Snake eyes appeared out after we see the snow mountains disintegrated above him and we heaved a sigh of relief to see that he didnt die and managed to catch the sleeping bag. Here is the funniest part : we see Jinx literally flopped on Snake eyes  like a fangirl and saying Thank Goodness. OK. LOVE LINE OF SNAKE EYES AND JINX ENDS HERE. And I shall end here. becos this post had dragged for a week and the most emotional part is coming up next and will be the biggest spoiler for the character of Stormshadow. I totally melt for him becos he has been living with that kind of anger...and being blamed for sth u didnt do for so many years oh my... Snake eyes sure feel bad too eh? Since no one is going to read this...does it matter if i stop abruptly here? hmmmmmmm . kthxbye
